Axillary hyperhidrosis, or excessive sweating in the armpits, is a common and often troubling condition. It can also affect the palms and soles of the feet. The primary symptom is sweating that occurs without physical exertion or heat. This can result in skin irritation, a higher risk of infections, and may contribute to feelings of social anxiety.

Neuromodulators, such as Dysport or Jeuveau, can be injected throughout the areas of concern to decrease or even eliminate profuse sweating and wet spots through clothing during non-active times. This treatment usually lasts 5–8 months, though each person responds differently. Treatment cost is $1000 and requires 50 units per side.

Treatments are temporary and last 3–6 months, with an average of 4 months.
